Job Posting: Self-Motivated and Positive Field Sales Engineer/Representative Needed

Johnson Company is expanding our territory to include the Chicago and Milwaukee markets and is seeking a field sales engineer for each market.

 

Johnson Company Manufacturers’ Representative is a professional manufacturers rep firm focusing on Semiconductor components, Human Machine Interfaces, Interconnects, and Electronic Solutions. We have structured a line card that is very strong for OEM sensing and switching solutions, flexible for custom interconnect and cable requirements and distribution savvy for logistics and component sales. We can assist on a standard part, engineer custom components, or support development of a complete wireless/cellular IoT solution enabling customers to enter new markets and generate new revenue streams.

 

Sales experience with OEM and CM customers in the greater Chicago and Milwaukee markets and surrounding areas is required. Engineering degree or strong technical knowledge is considered very advantageous.

 

The candidate must be self-starting, motivated, a team player, and have strong communication and organization skills.

 

Detailed Description:

 

To utilize the capabilities and technologies of the entire line card of manufacturers represented in order to seek out, identify, profile, and pursue new and existing market opportunities to generate sales revenue.

 

To solve both simple and complex customer problems and to provide real value through technical expertise and commercial skills for both our customers and manufacturers represented.

 

To provide sales related services to existing customers, new customers, and complete sales administrative functions as directed by management and in support of all manufacturers represented.

 

To provide sales support to our distribution partners, utilizing company resources to help manage and expand activity in the territory for sales growth

 

Manufacturers represented have strong field application engineering support for detailed customer engagement.  In addition, Johnson Company maintains a very strong technical support staff to assist in territory growth with our own experienced staff engineer able to travel as needed for customer calls and training, along with an experience inside technical support team as well. 

 

This is a position only limited by your time and effort, as salary will be 100% commission based once ramp-up is achieved. Existing customer base will be 100% handed over to manage and grow.  We have a full CRM system that monitors and tracks all customer sales for easy navigation and sales tracking.
