Cable assembly and connector maker Sinbon Electronics has reported September revenues of NT$1.51 billion (US$49.1 million), growing 2.54% on month and 20.57% on year and hitting an all-time high for the seventh consecutive month.
The company's consolidated revenues for the third quarter were NT$4.4 billion, up 9.93% sequentially and 19.88% on year, a new historical record with the combined amount for the first three quarters of 2018 increasing 15.96% on year to come to NT$11.95 billion.
Sinbon pointed out that the revenue growths were driven by increasing sales in green-energy, communication and electronics peripheral products.
The company's revenues from the green-energy and power-saving business had the best growth at 42.63% in August, followed by the medical care business at 23.75%, the automotive business 16.85%, the industrial application business 6.19% and the communication and electronics business 6.86%.
In terms of product lines, cables accounted for 72.16% of the company's revenues, while connector and other components contributed 27.84%.
